Lake Erie Alternative Power is basing its wind development proposals on Siemens’ 3.6MW offshore turbine

Wind turbine manufacturer Siemens has signed a Letter of Intent to supply turbines for offshore wind projects developed by the Lake Erie Alternative Power (LEAP) group.

The group is aiming to develop up to 5,040 megawatts of offshore wind farms around the Great Lakes.

The three developers of the London Array announced on Tuesday that the first of 177 foundations has now been installed at the London Array Offshore Wind Farm in the Thames Estuary.

VANCOUVER, March 25 /CNW/ – Siemens Energy has been awarded an order for 60 2.3-MW SWT-2.3-101 wind turbine to be installed near the town of Morris, Manitoba, Canada.
